Barry A Harris, VMD
Practice Owner/Veterinarian
Dr. Harris was born and raised in Boiling Springs, PA. He graduated from Penn State University and obtained his Veterinary Medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1984. In his early career he worked with both pets and farm animals. In 2000 he began focusing solely on small animal medicine and surgery. He established New Holland Veterinary Hospital, LLC in 2009 and built the current facility.
The new hospital better meets the needs of our clients and patients. It features a sterile surgery, separate treatment room, dental area, digital radiology for regular and dental x-rays, and an ultrasound machine. This presents the opportunity to offer our community the best in veterinary care.
Dr. Harris has been married to his wife Jean since 1980 and they have 3 children. Their oldest, Dr. Diane, joined the practice in July of 2012 and is now a full partner. This will help the practice transition as Dr. Harris reaches retirement age. His two sons, Allen and Philip are in human medicine. Allen is in Philadelphia practicing sports medicine and Philip in Wisconsin practicing family medicine. Among his adult children Dr. Harris and his wife have been blessed with 6 grandsons.
Yuen Y. Amicone , DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Amicone was born and raised in Dumont, New Jersey. She came to Pennsylvania by way of Wilson College in Chambersburg. She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology in 1987. She worked as a veterinary assistant at Chambersburg Animal Hospital for 2 years before she pursued her studies at Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. In 1993 she obtained her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University and moved to York, PA where she practiced at Leader Heights Animal Hospital from 1993-1997. In February of 1998 she moved to New Holland and took a position here. Her position at the Tower Road office enabled the practice to grow and offer full time veterinary care to our patients.
Dr. Amicone is one of the keys to our success here at New Holland Veterinary Hospital. Her compassionate care and giving nature has made her a favorite with our clients and patients. Her personal goal is to provide the best compassionate medical care to her patients.
The little free time that Dr. Amicone does have is spent with her family, especially with her daughter Lauren. Her hobbies are baking goodies for the staff, reading and searching out interesting places to vacation when not in Walt Disney World.
Diane N. Tomaskovich , DVM
Practice owner/Veterinarian
Dr. Diane Tomaskovich was born and raised in Lancaster. She attended Penn State University, where she obtained a degree in Animal Bioscience. She went on to earn her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at North Carolina State University, College of Veterinary Medicine in Raleigh, North Carolina. During veterinary school, she spent her free time volunteering at spay and neuter clinics for various rescue and adoption organizations. She was also involved with NC State’s “Turtle Rescue Team” which treats and rehabilitates injured wild turtles.
Dr. Diane inherited her love of animals and veterinary medicine from her father, Dr. Barry Harris. Growing up she spent many hours shadowing him. In addition, she worked at Lititz Veterinary Clinic as a veterinary assistant to gain experience observing a board certified surgeon. She has been a veterinarian at New Holland Veterinary Hospital since 2012 and became a partner in 2022. Her interests include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery and preventative/wellness medicine. She also sees reptiles, guinea pigs and rabbits. She values the relationships with both pets and their owners that develop from caring for pets over the years of their lifetime.
When not working, Dr. Diane enjoys spending time with her family. Dr. Diane and her husband Steve have two sons, Andrew and Carson. They also have a cat named Levi and a Chihuahua-mix named Parker..
Brian K. G'Sullivan, DVM
Veterinarian
Doctor Brian G’Sullivan is a Philadelphia native who attended Syracuse University for a B.S. in biology before going south to University of Georgia to attain his DVM degree. He returned to Pennsylvania to practice small animal medicine in Philadelphia and Bucks County for twenty one years before moving to Lancaster County, where he would often vacation with his family. Soft tissue surgery and clinical pathology are his favorite interests.
Mom reading nature books and watching nature programs led to his love for animals. Working at Dad’s gas station showed him how things work together. Adding a love of puzzles, mysteries and science led him to his career choice in aiding a small portion of God’s creation. He has yet to work gaming, history and British comedy into this, but he tries.
His wife, Elisa, was a school teacher and now homeschools their two boys, Austin and Jesse. They enjoy taking drives, playing games, making waves at church and walking the dog. Dr. Brian tries to educate in all things nerdy and Elisa appropriately resists. One dog, one cat and a cockatiel complete the family.
Dr. Monica Daniel DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Monica Daniel was born in Missouri and raised on a diversified family farm in Maryland. She attended Virginia Tech for three years of undergraduate studies in Animal Science and graduated from the Virginia- Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. She joined New Holland Veterinary Hospital in the fall of 2022 after having practiced at Warwick Run Animal Clinic in Lititz for 25+ years.
Dr. Monica lives with her husband, David, in Lititz. They share their home with their children, Tiernan and Mal, a German Shorthair Pointer named Laser. They also have three cats, Evan Miko and Queue, and a variety of fish. Dr. Monica’s passions include: Scouting (Boy and Girl), environmental conservation efforts, gardening, reading, and sewing.
Sue, CVT
Retiring Business Manager
Sue was born and raised in Lancaster county. She graduated from Lampeter Strasburg High School and proceeded to Harcum College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania to pursue her studies in Veterinary Technology. In 1975 she graduated with a Associates degree and began working for Dr. Landis at Smoketown Veterinary Hospital in 1976. At that time it was a small veterinary hospital that consisted of 2 veterinarians and 3 support staff. Sue started out as Dr. Landis’ technician but quickly became a jack of all trades and did any and all jobs at the hospital that needed done. Sue worked hard to help grow their 4 person operation into the large, four facility practice that it became. Sue came to work for New Holland Veterinary Hospital in August 2009 as a business/practice manager.
Sue lives in Manheim, along with her husband, Ron. Her daughter Nicole and her son-in-law, Jared live in Lititz. Her son, Kevin and daughter-in-law, KenniJo live in Manheim. Sue has five grandchildren, Joscelyn, Kaylee, Evelyn, Riley, and Eliza. Her furry children are two crazy little dogs “Radar” & “Zoey”
Kierstyn
Business Manager
Kierstyn was born and raised in New Holland, PA and is a graduate of PA Leadership Charter School. After high school, she received a Bachelors in Business Management from West Chester University.
Kierstyn has been an avid animal lover her entire life. She has spent a lot of her time working at various horse farms. She currently owns a horse named Titan and a German Shepherd named Hansel. In her free time, Kierstyn enjoys horseback riding and hiking/swimming with Hansel.
Kris
Grooming Coordinator/Accounts Receivable/Assistant
Kris was born and raised in Lancaster County. She is a graduate of Garden Spot High School. At a very young age Kris knew in her heart that she was to work in the veterinary world in some way because of her strong love for animals. Kris started her career in the veterinary field in 1998 and has worked in many different aspects and areas along the way.
Kris is in charge of our accounts receivable, billing, and deposits department as well as being our grooming manager/coordinator. In addition she has somehow become apart of maintenance and is often the go to “fix it gal” at our hospital if the need arises.
In her spare time you would most definitely find Kris spending every ounce of available time with her pride and joy – The Furry Fam which are her four shelties “Jia”, “Jypsee”,”Jovee”, and “Juju”.
Linda , CVT
Certified Veterinary Nurse
Linda is a life-long resident of Lancaster County. She attended Harcum College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. She obtained her Associates degree in Veterinary Technology in 1981 and has been working in small animal veterinary medicine ever since. In 1996 she took a position at Smoketown Veterinary Hospital where she began working closely with Dr. Harris and has honed her skills and passion for all small animals, but especially reptiles and amphibians.
Her personality, work ethic and sense of humor make Linda great to work with.
Jami, CVT
Certified Veterinary Nurse
Jami was born and raised in Lancaster County and is a 2001 graduate of Conestoga Valley High School. During high school, she worked in the kennel at a local veterinary hospital where she discovered her passion for this type of work. She also grew up in the dog show circuit helping her mom show Basenjis. After graduating in 2004 from Harcum College with a degree in Veterinary Technology, she worked for several years with a board certified surgeon in Lancaster. In 2010, she began working a New Holland Veterinary Hospital. She has a special interest in anesthesia, dentistry, pain management and surgery, especially orthopedics. Jami is a hard worker with a fun and outgoing personally, loves to have a good time and be around people. She has a contagious laugh!
When not at work, Jami can be found at her Willow Street home with her husband Scott, daughter Miranda, and son Trevor. Also residing in the home are 4 dogs,( Sassy, Daphne Marie, Taffy, and Mortimer), 2 cats, (Tarzan and Jane), 9 chickens and a turtle of 32 years (Fred). Her interests include spending time with her family and friends, youth softball and baseball, weekend cabin trips, kayaking, fishing,, hiking, geocaching and being around people!

Sam was born and raised in Chester County and graduated from Twin Valley High School in 2014. After graduating from the Veterinary Technician program at Harcum College in 2017, Sam worked for an emergency clinic for 5 years. She joined New Holland Veterinary Hospital in 2021. Sam enjoys the surgery aspect of the hospital and spending time with the patients.
When not at work, Sam enjoys spending time with her fiance, Robert and their 3 children, Liam, Emma and Noah. Sam also shares her home with a dog named Mickey and 3 cats, Milo, Ariel and Beans.
Felicia, CVT
Certified Veterinary Nurse
Growing up in Honey Brook, PA, Felicia has always loved and had a great passion for the care of animals. Throughout her life, she had many pets, including a chinchilla, hamster, cats and dogs. One of her favorite places to visit as a young child was Springton Manor in Guthriesville where she would spend all afternoon petting and feeding the farm animals. As a teen, Felicia volunteered to walk dogs at local animal rescues and assisted in several dog rescue transports – always in the back seat comforting the dogs as they were traveling to their new homes.
Felicia graduated from Harcum College in 2018 and acquired her veterinary nursing degree. Shortly after she passed the VTNE and earned her certification. Felicia has been working at New Holland Veterinary Hospital since January 2019 and loves it! She enjoys working with the animals, assisting in surgeries and in the exam rooms, always with a focus on fear-free techniques.
Felicia lives in Reading, PA with her boyfriend and her beloved cat, Patrick Pickle. Pickle (as he’s most commonly known), is disabled and his hind legs don’t work correctly. Felicia adopted him from a client and loves him very much. In her free time she enjoys relaxing at home, shopping, playing video games and spending time with her family.
Jessica
Veterinary Nurse
Jess is a 2012 graduate of Garden Spot High School and a 2014 graduate of the veterinary technology program at Harcum College. Jess joined our team in 2018. Being Fear Free Certified, she enjoys office appointments where her goal is to make every pet’s appointment as comfortable as possible.
When not at work, Jess enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 young girls, Peyton and Kylee. She has one dog, a rescue named Dixie. Her family enjoys camping and the outdoors. Jess loves being able to work part time so she can have more time with her family.
Trinity
Veterinary Nurse
Trinity was born and raised in Lancaster County. She graduated from Solanco High School in 2018. She attended the CTC veterinary assistant program her senior year of high school. She discovered her passion for animals at a young age due to riding horses and showing cattle at local fairs.
Trinity currently lives in Quarryville. She has a boxer mix named Callie. In her free time she enjoys boating on the river with her fiancé, Matt and daughter Ellie. I also enjoy hunting and spending time with family
Shianne
Veterinary Assistant
Shianne was born and raised in Lancaster County on a farmette where she first found her love for animals. She is a 2016 Garden Spot High School and Willow Street CTC Veterinary Assistant graduate.
She now lives in New Holland with her husband, Jordan, and her two dogs, “Marley” and “Dexter”. She has been working at the practice for a year now and loves every part of coming to work. In her spare time you will find her cheering on her husband at his softball games. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family as well as enjoying the outdoors with her fur babies. Shianne is Fear Free certified and is ready to help your furry family members!
Chris
Veterinary Assistant
Chris was born and raised in Lancaster County and is a 1993 graduate of Garden Spot High School. He joined New Holland Veterinary Hospital as an Assistant in 2020. Chris has raised and trained a variety of animals over the years including cats, dogs, servals, bobcats, cougars, horses, and peacocks to name a few. He enjoys all aspects of being an assistant and is very compassionate with the clients and patients.
When not at work, Chris enjoys songwriting, singing and showing his Xoloitzcuintli, Mexico, in conformation dog shows.
Brooke
Veterinary Assistant
Brooke was raised on a farmette in Lancaster County where she first found her love for animals. She graduated from Garden Spot High School and Willow Street CTC Large Animal Science & Technology class in 2019. Brooke enjoys helping the patients feel comfortable and safe during their visit.
Outside of work Brooke enjoys fishing, the outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
Wilma
Client Care Services
Wilma was born and raised here in New Holland and graduated from Garden Spot High School. Wilma started working here as a receptionist in February 2001. Wilma has been most valuable to us due to her extensive knowledge and experience with breeding. For 15 years she bred Boxers and took pride in breeding excellent pet quality dogs from three different champion bloodline sires. Having both the Dam and Sire on the premises and paying special attention to handling and socializing the puppies for the first 8 weeks of life made this a very successful venture for Wilma and her family. She readily shares her experiences raising quality puppies with potential pet breeders.
She has watched the practice change and grow over years and is very excited for all the new opportunities coming with New Holland Veterinary Hospital. She is especially enjoying having all her fellow employees in the new facility and getting to know everyone better.
In her spare time Wilma enjoys spending time with her husband, four children and seven grandchildren. Most warm days you will find her on her mower or in her garden. Wilma is a great example of a strong, caring Christian woman and we are blessed to have her as part of our staff.
Kimberly

Kimberly grew up in Southern Lancaster County and graduated from Octorara High School. After working at a veterinary hospital in Christiana, PA for over 20 years, Kimberly joined our team in August of 2019.
Kimberly knows all too well that sometimes in life, God changes our path. Her daily life now looks different after the passing of her husband in 2015. Spending time with family is very important to Kimberly. She was very excited to become a grandmother in December of 2022.
She currently resides in Gordonville with her 2 Beagles, Lacey and Ruby, a Sheltie, Lexie and 1 feline friend, Glen.
Linda
Grooming Staff
Linda was born and raised in Leola. She is a graduate of the Maryland School of Dog Grooming.
In the past Linda participated in several grooming competitions, earning 2nd place at Intergroom in New Jersey with a Soft Coated Wheaton Terrier. Linda started out showing Schipperkes and showed dogs to Group wins and Championships in both the US and Canada.
Linda currently resides in Leola with her husband Mike, and teenager Beau. These days, Linda enjoys a quieter life with her companion pugs “Anderson Pooper” and “Zoey”, and her Ragdoll cats, “Shmoo”, “Oliver” and “Gizmo”. Linda also has a miniature horse named “Meikko”.
Laura
Grooming Staff
Laura was raised in Chester County with her mother and 2 brothers. She permanently moved to Lancaster County around 2005.
In 2007, Laura took what she considers a life changing opportunity, and sought one on one education with Cindy Blatt at Cindy’s Canine Companions. This is where she became a certified pet groomer in compliance with the PA Board of Education. Laura has a deep love and passion for all animals, especially the Boxer breed; they hold a special place in her heart.
When she is not grooming, you will find Laura spending time outdoors, gardening or working on art projects. Laura also enjoys spending time with her daughter, her two dogs “Vera” and “Zak” and her rabbit “Abraham”.
Kristi

Kristi was born and raised in Lancaster County. She graduated from Ephrata High School. She lives in New Holland with her husband, daughter, a lab (Gracie), a cat (Theo) and bunny (Cookie). She also has a daughter, son-in-law and 2 fur-grandbabies that live in Ephrata. In her spare time she enjoys relaxing at home, spending time with her family, playing cards, crafting with the girls, cooking and baking.

Terri was born and raised in Chester County and graduated from Coatesville Area Senior High and has been living in Lancaster County for the past 19 years with her husband and 6 year old puppies Marci & Mya.
Terri started at NHVH in November of 2022 and loves every minute of it. She enjoys interacting with the clients and helping their fur babies to have the most pleasant experience possible with every visit. She is also very grateful for her co-workers who have made her feel like part of the team since day one.
Terri enjoys spending time with family and friends, spoiling her five grandchildren and spending time at the beach whenever possible.
Yeira

Yeira was born and raised in Lancaster County and graduated from Commonwealth Charter Academy in 2021. From there, she began CTC’s Veterinary Technician program and looks forward to graduating and taking the VTNE in Fall of 2024. While working, Yeira loves meeting new clients and patients, as well as learning new skills that complement her education.
Outside of work, Yeira enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her dog Asher.

Juleinne was raised in Newark, NJ. She graduated high school in 2018. Juleinne moved to PA in 2020. She lives with her boyfriend Carlos and has 1 dog (Stormi) and 3 cats (Lilo, Zuleinne, Annoya).
Growing up Juleinne always had a love for animals. In her spare time she enjoys fishing, shopping, outdoors, relaxing at home and spending time with friends and family.
Jennifer
Groomer
Jennifer lives in Coatesville with her husband (Gene), 2 daughters (Tori and Josephine), and their golden retriever, Agnes. Jenn was a certified Veterinary Technician for 23 years. Jenn worked at an Animal Hospital in Chester County that whole time. When her boss of 23 years retired, she decided to move on as well. Jenn has been doing dog grooming for 3 years now, and she loves it! Outside of work, you can find Jenn with her family, which keeps her pretty busy. Jenn also enjoys reading, long walks with Agnes, and hanging out with her twin sister.
Kelli
Groomer/Bather
Kelli was born in Western PA she then moved to Chester County when she was older. Her family had horses, 2 cows, and a barn full of cats and always had family dogs.
Kelli enjoyed climbing trees, and hanging upside down, so at the age of 4 her mother enrolled her in gymnastics. For the next 20+ years she spent everyday of her life training in the port of gymnastics.
Kelli now has 2 children and 5 grandchildren. Her “dream job” is working with dogs. Kelli is so blessed to own her 2nd Golden Retriever named “Pristine Iza” which she spends all of her free time hiking and finding “new adventures”.
